Eating our way around the 6ix - V 1.0

Updated: May 5, 2018

Toronto! What a city!

As we are living here for 2.5 years, we have plenty of time to eat our way through this city.

Her is volume 1 of our TO food journal.

Keep your eyes peeled for more posts as we discover more places

V 1.0 - Awesome CHEAP eats!

1. Porchetta and Co.

Love pork? Get your arse here STAT. This is seriously one of the best pork sandwiches we have ever had - succulent porchetta, topped with crackling, mustard, truffle sauce and parmesan! Are you drooling yet? There are also great sides you can grab. Check this place out!

2. The Burger Priest

Some of Toronto's best burgers live in this place with several locations. Try the "High Priest" with delish secret sauce. Yummmmmm

3. Pizzeria Defina

We live in Roncesvalles area and as always when we move to a new neighbourhood, we make it a top priority to find awesome pizza near our house. Luck would have it that we moved in to a neighbourhood that is home to the BEST pizza we have had thus far in Toronto. Beautiful, fresh Napoli style wood-fired pizza. Our fav is Diavola or the Roncy.

4. Wvrst

Craving some sausage - get to this awesome King St eatery. A German beer-hall style joint with a wide variety of delicious sausage - the menu is super impressive with lots to choose from as well as many craft beers on tap.

5. Duff's for WINGS

One thing we love to eat in the North American continent is wings - something that is hard to come by in Australia. Duffs are as good as it gets in TO - amazing Buffalo wings that will make you sweat and seriously good blue cheese sauce on the side. Do not miss this place!

6. Electric Mud BBQ

7. Wilbur Mexicana

8. P.G. Clucks

Get yourself to Little Italy's P.G Clucks for the BEST fried chicken sandwich in TO (and I take my fried chicken very seriously!). The chicken is hot, crispy and juicy and the sandwich topped with slaw, pickles and 2 sauces. This place is not to be missed!
